Restorative Yoga Workshop

Details:

This in-person workshop is on Saturday, 10/25, from 5:00 - 6:30 PM, at Apricity Mind + Body Collective. Space is limited. Cost is $45. There is off-street parking behind the building.

In this Restorative Yoga workshop, you’ll practice the art of slowing down, listening in, and letting yourself feel supported enough to quiet your mind. We’ll start the workshop with some gentle movement then move through a series of supported yoga poses using a variety of props (blankets, straps, bolsters, blocks), depending on the pose. We’ll use the props, visualization, and some directed breathing techniques to bring you into a state of deep rest. This is NOT an active posture workshop; for the most part, the poses will be supported by props and held for an extended period of time (anywhere from 3-10 minutes).

Props will be provided.

Instructions:

Please bring your yoga mat, an extra layer to keep yourself warm, and a cozy blanket, if you’d like. If you have an eye pillow, soft scarf, or hand towel, you could bring that to cover your eyes during savasana. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the workshop starts to allow time to check in and get settled. Thank you!
