The Yoga Clinics are small group workshops intended to offer you an educational and practical look at your yoga practice. Most often, we'll be focusing on a particular area of the body (e.g. hips, shoulders, spine...) using the lenses of anatomy, biomechanics, pain science, and stretching. All the clinics run in a 4-week series format; each workshop session will build on the one before it. We'll experiment with a variety of movement options and explore why we might choose one option over another, depending on the day, depending on the student. The educational content offered will be presented in an approachable and practical way, and my hope is that you'll walk away with a fresh perspective on our area of study, some movement variations in particular poses that work best for you and your students, and a renewed sense of wonder towards your body in particular, and the miracle of the body in general. These small group workshops will offer some opportunity to attend to some of your specific needs and questions around certain musculoskeletal concerns. They are appropriate for both new yoga practitioners as well as yoga teachers.
