Transitioning to Autumn: A Qigong Practice
SAT SEP 19, 4 - 5:15 PM EDT (SAT SEP 19, 4 - 5:15 PM EDT)

I’m so happy to be welcoming Dr. Aaron Olden of Mindful Medicine Rochester back to Lake Breeze Wellness for another Qigong class to take us through the transition into Autumn!

Details:

Qigong for the Autumn Transition takes place on Saturday, 9/19, at 4:00–5:15 PM, at Lake Breeze Wellness.

This gathering blends education, gentle movement, and meditation to help you understand - and feel - how to move into autumn in a way that supports your body’s nervous system, emotional balance, and overall vitality.

Curious about qigong? Whether you're completely new to the practice or have practiced before, this class is for all levels.

What is Qigong?

Qigong is an ancient practice focused on cultivating and directing the body's energy, or Qi. Qi flows through the body, supplying every cell with energy — much like electricity powering a factory. "Qi" means energy, and "Gong" refers to dedicated effort or skill. The practice involves learning to sense, build, and refine this energy over time. The basics are easy to grasp, and the practice is accessible to people of all ages and abilities.

Spots are limited — reserve yours today to give your body and mind the support they need for the season ahead.

Cost is $25. Registration is required. *Pass is non-refundable, and all sales are final.

Instructions:

Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. Bring a yoga mat if you have one, and feel free to bring any props that help you feel supported (cozy blanket, eye pillow, etc.). There are bolsters, blankets, and other props at the space. Arriving 5–10 minutes early is recommended so you can settle in.
