“A season of preservation, not production” ✨

As we head towards winter and colder, darker days, I’ve been finding my walks (no matter the duration) to be the most enlivening, yet grounding, practice of late; fresh air, sunshine, earth under my boots, all my senses bathing in the beauty of the natural world. Everything feels alive, and it makes me feel more alive. It helps me slow down. It quiets my meandering thoughts. It helps me feel more connected to beauty; true nourishment in a world that’s often selling us a transitory, outwardly focused, superficial form of beauty, connection, and everything else. What ways are you nourishing yourself lately? I’d love to hear from you! ✨

There’s one spot left in the Restorative Yoga & Reiki workshop at Apricity on Prince. The workshop is Saturday, 12/6, from 5:00 - 6:30 PM. I’ll be joined by Amanda Fite from FORM Integrative Health, who’ll be offering Reiki during the workshop. Amanda took her Reiki level 1 and 2 from Robyn Devoist in 2009. Reiki is a form of energy work that uses the practitioner as a conduit to balance energy systems and ground the recipient.
I’m so honored & excited to offer this workshop with Amanda: Time and space for quiet and reflection to help you prioritize what matters most to you during this season ahead.

This workshop is on Saturday, 1/24, from 4:30 - 6:30 PM, at Assisi Yoga. The workshop will focus on breath awareness techniques to bring a sense of spaciousness to your body, mind, & spirit. There will be an educational component to this workshop: We’ll take some time at the start of the workshop to discuss some breathing mechanics in relation to the primary breathing muscle, the diaphragm. The majority of the workshop will be spent learning through experiencing how it feels to use some directed breathing practices to sense your breath in different areas of your body, to embody your breath, and to use your breath in yoga poses in order to feel a little more alive. We’ll end the workshop with a guided meditation, followed by a restorative savasana. *Register by 12/14 and receive a $5 discount! Use code EARLYBIRD5 at checkout.

There are some spots left in both the morning & afternoon sessions of the upcoming January hip clinics. I’ve offered this for a few years, and while I always emphasize certain helpful bits of information, each series is different. These tend to be such rich sessions where you get to know your fellow yogis, and yourself, quite well. If you have a friend or family member who might find them interesting, see if they want to join you.
Any questions? Please be in touch.

I’m running a holiday special on my private session packages from Friday, 11/28, through Saturday, 1/31/26. The package can be purchased online or in person. The online purchase link can be found on both my Private Session webpage, as well as the Class Package page.
Do you have a friend or family member who might want to join you for a private session? The holiday special package can also be used for 2 and 3-person, semi-private sessions. That means you’ll get over 50% off the normal price of a semi-private session package. More yoga for you and your family and/or friends. :)

Here are some things that have been both inspiring and nourishing for me of late:
A tasty bitters tincture to aid digestion (also perfect for Thanksgiving!)
Fascinating research on how the immune, nervous, and endocrine systems are interconnected
Lots of restorative yoga (whatever props or amount of time available)

And I love this beautiful “Rituals of Restoration” graphic from Anima Mundi Herbals and think it shares some lovely, nourishing rituals to help enjoy and embrace the winter season as it is. I hope you can look for the season’s possibilities versus what might be called its burdens, and I so look forward to offering you some nourishment in the yoga room this time of year too. Looking forward to seeing you soon! ✨
Warmly,
Kasia
